A all round great experience. Friendly staff, good service. Food was good also they have smoking and non smoking rooms. pool and a short walk to food and shops with atm located at the petrol station if you need cash. TheBoofa75
The location was very close to the checkpoint – about a 15 minute drive. The staff are helpful and polite. Rooms are clean and whilst having a modern design, have a minimalistic feel as well. Prashaanth Rajandran
One of the classier hotels in JB, albeit located a distance away from most of the interesting sights. Still, there are some good local eats within walking distance, as well as a JUSCO for groceries. Property is a bit dated, but very comfortable and comes well equipped with standard amenities. The buffet breakfast is most excellent, and certainly a highlight of any stay. CH Chng
Noisy. Have been staying with Marriott for a long time. Room, styling, comfort of bed, cleanliness etc are like typical Marriott. Just 2 things that was different. One I didn’t get the room type I wanted/booked. 2 I could hear deep freq noise (like machine’s hum) when sleep sideways, ear on pillow. If I sleep face up the room is quiet. Unfortunately I always sleep sideways. This leads to me not able to sleep well for this trip and since just one night there I didn’t get to test out other rooms. Will not choose this property in future. First time ever encounter such problem and I do travel quite a bit. James Koay

It is a economical short weekend getaway. 5 star hotel but call for extra 2 towels.take 45mins and 3rd call to get it.Guest needs a bit more of patience. llytoh

The rooms were clean and the food was okay. The staff was friendly however, 100% of the time you ordered something or requested something they wouldn’t have at least 50% of that item. So for example you order a burger and they wouldn’t have French fries. Also they did this thing where they pretended to understand you and then you would have to call several times in order to get an extra towel or bathrobe. The pool was closed the entire week I was there because apparently it had been so dirty they had to close it to clean it and it took them an entire week. So that was crap because that’s the only reason I was there. I go along with my husband for business trips and Malaysia doesn’t feel that safe for me to wander around, so I go along and lounge by the pool or at least in the past. This time I was stuck in my room. The gym was decent and they had a sauna. The sauna wall panels were starting to come out and the door didn’t seal all the way so the heat escapes easily. No hand soap in the women’s bathrooms.
It wasn’t the worst place I’ve stayed but I’ve been to better hotels in Johor Bahru. Celestia Harpster

Received very good services from Shahrul (driver) who had offered to send n pick me up from Aeon because it was raining. He was kind and helpful and also sent me to the Bus station and showed me d right bus lane. It would be good if all hotels could provide such efficient and helpful services.
